Earlier this year, the price on the blockbuster book, The Girl on the Train, was slashed from $11.99 to $1.99 for one day only.
Previously, Gone Girl was discounted from $9.99 to $2.99, and The Da Vinci Code was given away for free for one week. In all three cases, the discounts were only available for the ebook version.
Most people were completely unaware of these huge deals.

i sent a comment yesterday, but found out later it didn't go through; i pushed the wrong button or something dumb... anyway, tx for the bub thing; i don't read much modern fiction, but i'll check it out and see if any offers appear acceptable. a friend went to Ireland a few years ago and he mentioned what terrible drivers the Irish were; so "be careful out there", as some character once said...
ReplyDeleteI haven't found the Irish too difficult as drivers. I don't think anyone is worse than the Tasmanians. I have driven in several countries now and always find them to be the worst. I haven't had a good look at this web page but prices are good. However with over 4000 books, mainly Penguins in my home I would be silly to buy more books because they are cheap but every now and then........hmmmm. Thanks for dropping by. I enjoy your comments.
